COOKING DEMONSTRATION TO BE GIVEN THIS WEEK
    --------
Series of Lectures at Empire Sponsored by Potomac Edison Company.

A series of lectures and demonstrations of cooking by automatic heat control will be given each afternoon this week in the Empire theater by Mrs. Pearl J. England, of Baltimore, for the Potomac Edison Company. Many Frederick housewives are expected to attend the meeting which will be held from Tuesday until Saturday inclusive, from 2.30 until 4.30 o'clock.

A display of stoves will be shown and two stoves will be used by Mrs. England who intends to cook an entire dinner on Tuesday and several following days, explaining the various details of measured heat control in so doing, and offering various menus and suggestions. Each person will be served part of the various courses of the meal, and a set of aluminum ware will be given away. Stoves at special price arrangements will be sold, old ones traded in and with each sale, a set of the aluminum ware will be given.

Mrs. England will use the aluminum ware which fits the oven used and will demonstrate the special method of saving gas. A large number of stoves has been sold local residents during the past Winter and Spring by Peter C. Zasoba, of the P. E. Company, this city, and many women now owning them are expected to attend series of lectures.
